Delhi Historical Society

The DELHI HISTORICAL SOCIETY welcomes all readers to submit factual articles or stories for publication on this website.

This is NOT a venue to attack or slander others or to make derogatory remarks about Delhi.

Articles about family histories or individuals, historical events, landmarks, businesses, or famous or interesting people from Delhi.

Photos are especially welcomed - to you it may just be an old photo of Uncle Joe, but in the background is a building that has long since been torn down.  Where possible, we will try to present old photos in a "then and now" format.

If your articles needs to have photos included, contact the Society for help in layout.

Although articles/stories are submitted by various authors, the Society does not nor cannot varify the accuracy of the facts.

The Society does reserve the right to reject any submission.  This is not a venue for fiction writing; ie, we know Abraham Lincoln did not sleep in Great Great Grandmother Sue's front bedroom!

This is a work in progress that will never be finished.  Don't get mad that something is not included; just let us know what it is and we will investigate.
